Do I still work in aerospace?
 |
Yes and no. When I was ten, mother was killed in a car crash in the Pyrenees while visiting her parents who then lived in Andorra. Father was stunned and went for early retirement.
Having no real need to stay in France any more, he returned to his family home in Branksome Park, Dorset. It was a huge house, but I mostly remember the gardens. It is now a convalescent home run by nuns.
I had never been to school in France and now father took over my education which, inevitably, was slanted towards his dreams for the future of aerospace.
| I had to go to school when I was fifteen so that I could sit my exams and, passing with straight "A"s, I gained a scholarship to attend the tiny, but important, Planck Institute in Edinburgh. After gaining a degree in Astrophysics, I opted to study Higher Quantum Mechanics at CNES in Toulouse.
At seventeen, I took a year out to "do" America which is where I was spotted dancing which led to my years as a glamour model.
Upon my return, I studied again, working as Student Teacher at CNES for two days a week until I gained my PhD. Now, I work from home as a freelance lecturer and educator. |
